Jonathan Woehlk is a Danish Bass Player and Musical Director based in Copenhagen, Denmark. His solid playing and strong work ethic has earned him awards and worldwide performance / MD / recording-opportunities, alongside musicians and artists such as:

Omar Hakim (Michael Jackson, Daft Punk, Sting), John Legend, LaufeyJack Douglas (John Lennon, The Who, Aerosmith), Larry Klein (Bob Dylan, Norah Jones), Gil Smith (Drake, Doja Cat, Lady Gaga), Gerard Presencer (Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea), Andrew Strong (The Commitments), Jacques Schwarz-Bart (D’Angelo, Roy Hargrove - RH Factor), Bobby Stanton (James Taylor, The Temptations), Kevin Barry (Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne) and Grace Kinstler.

Danish credits include acts such as Zindy Laursen, Sko/Torp, Fyr Og Flamme, L.I.G.A, Back to Back, Birthe Kjær, Rasmus Bjerg, SDJ Symphony Orchestra, DR TV work and a row of large-scale musical productions including “The Bodyguard”, “Come From Away”, “Moulin Rouge!”, “Matador” and “Saturday Night Fever”.

As an alumnus of Berklee College of Music, Jonathan Woehlk graduated with the highest of all honors: “summa cum laude”. Throughout his studies, he received some of the institution’s most prestigious acknowledgements. First and foremost a Full Tuition Scholarship after being one of four nominees worldwide for the International Presidential Scholarship. Furthermore he was awarded The Lawrence Berk Scholarship, named after Berklee’s founder and first president and described as: “For the superior musician for outstanding musical achievement”
